Top 10 Waikiki Happy Hours
Have you visited Waikiki lately? It has transformed into a great tourist destination and now an awesome local go-to if you know your way around. Here are some of our favorite happy hours (HH) to lure you in and help you LIVE SMART on a budget and not sacrifice quality...
1. BLT Steak House at Trump Waikiki ~ DAILY 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Notes: Good selection of food and drinks on the HH menu, unlimited popovers (ask for a side of honey & mix with the butter, yum!), great service at the bar, FREE 4hr parking validation, just tip your valet person. Great spot to grab a first drink and pupus, perhaps watch the sunset, fireworks on Fridays or shopping with that 4hr parking limit! Can't go wrong with the burger, sub Truffle Fries. Sometimes they have musubi's and once we had the Foie Gras Musubi for $16! Click here for the HH menu called the Sunset Menu and here for the drinks.
2. Herringbone at the International Market Place in Waikiki ~ DAILY 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Notes: Great options on the HH menu and one of the newest spots in Waikiki.
The octopus, yellowtail and wings were all tasty and priced well for the quality. The atmosphere and decor was a lovely addition to the International Market Place.
Hope they keep this great HH and not cut the HH times short, which then limits locals from attending for Pau Hanas. Greatest downfall of a Hawaii restaurant is to not have a local following.

3. Doraku in Waikiki ~ DAILY 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Notes: Lots on this menu, our favs are tuna tataki, eggplant, chicken kara'age, chicken & steak yakitori. The brussells sprouts are really good even though they aren't on the HH menu. Can't go wrong with most anything on the menu, lots of great flavors but do not go here expecting traditional Japanese sushi. Similar style to Sansei's. Located in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, along with validated parking there.
4. Wolfgang's Steakhouse in Waikiki ~ DAILY 11:00am - 6:30pm
Notes: There are daily specials for the martini, cocktail & wines for $7.00 and draft beer for $5.00. A $7.00 pupu menu including steak, hamburger & kalbi sliders, ahi & steak tartare, tenderloin kabob, lobster crostini & mini loco moco. Also a Taste of NY for $39.00. Menu and pricing subject to change. Located in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, along with validated parking there.
5. Sarento's at the Top of the Ilikai ~ DAILY 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Notes: This is a great restaurant with a view and you can order off the small plate menu with drink and food discounts during HH. They also have a speakeasy special of 40% a regular menu item if purchased with a specialty cocktail during HH. Click here for the HH menu. You can also see the Friday fireworks from here but that works only if you stay until 7:45pm. Parking: you can valet at the Ilikai and that is $5.00+tip or get a validation for $5.00 for the first 4 hours at the parking garage next to Red Lobster. Lastly, you can park by the lagoon/beach for free or in the $1.00/hr pre-paid parking lot near the lagoon/beach.
6. Yard House in Waikiki ~ MONDAY TO FRIDAY 2:00pm - 5:30pm
Notes: They have these discounts during HH, drawback is NO HH on Weekends & ends early, but hey good food and drinks at great prices! Click here for the HH menu.

Parking: Valet parking located at Embassy Suites located off of Beach Walk street right before Yard House which is on Lewers. With validation you pay $6+tip for a 4hr limit.
7. Dean and Deluca at the Ritz-Carlton Waikiki ~ DAILY 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Notes: Hidden little wine & cheese bar off of the main strip on the 2nd floor above the Dean and Deluca store.
Great deal, $10/glass of wine (3 wines of the day to choose from) and it comes with a small plate of complimenting cheeses from the Cheesemonger in house. Buying the high-end cheeses & meats are higher priced than Whole Foods but quality is there. Parking: At the Ritz-Carlton parking, free 3hrs with validation.
8. Ravish at The Modern Honolulu in Waikiki ~ DAILY 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Notes: This HH goes to 7:00pm! Most end before 6:30pm so stop in here when you are running late. Click here for the HH menu.

9. Hy's Steak House Waikiki ~ DAILY 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Notes: The selected cocktails and wines are $8 and beers are $5. The great selection of appetizers range from $10 to $15. Click here for the HH menu. Parking: Pull into the restaurant off of Kuhio Ave. and free valet parking+tip upon leaving restaurant.
10. Tommy Bahama Restaurant in Waikiki ~ DAILY 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Notes: Lots of drinks to choose from on HH and a shorter food item menu. Great setting and people watching spot. Cool sand flooring with relaxed lounge chairs. Parking: Bank of Hawaii parking structure, $7 for 4hr with validation (Mon-Fri 6p-close or Sat/Sun all day) or Hilton Hokulani parking garage, $6+tip, valet w/ validation.
